High-velocity heating and Air Conditioning Systems have an outdoor heat pump or compressor just like traditional HVAC systems. The main difference and advantage is in the ductwork system. These high-velocity systems have ducts that are narrow and sealed for minimal energy loss. With high pressure, the air is moved speedily through the narrow ducts which provides heating and cooling at much quicker rates. This allows for a significant reduction in energy costs since less heating and cooling are required thanks to the efficiency of these systems.
